The site of the symposium is the "Bahia Resort Hotel", which many may remember as the same location used for the 14th IEEE/NPSS SOFE. The Bahia is situated on a beach within Mission Bay, just 1 block from the Pacific Ocean. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and lounge, large heated pool, whirlpool, children's playground, 2 lighted tennis courts, and watersport rentals available. Children under 12 stay free, and parking is free. Many additional facilities are within a short walking distance.

Note: The IEEE/NPSS block of rooms at the group rate is guaranteed only until September 4. After Sept. 4, guests may be required to pay the full non-government rate. When the Bahia fills to capacity (325 rooms), guests will be accommodated at the Bahia's sister hotel 1.5 miles across the bay: The Catamaran Resort Hotel.

The easiest and most convenient form of transportation from the airport is shuttle bus or taxi. Transportation information is readily available near the baggage claim areas. For those choosing to drive, from the airport take Harbor Drive South. Take the Grape Street exit to route 5. Take route 5 to route 8 west. Take route 8 west to West Mission Bay Drive. The hotel is on West Mission Bay Drive.
