Fusion Engineering Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia

The D. V. Efremov Scientific Research Intitute of Electrophysical Apparatus, St. Petersburg, Russia, will host the Sixth All-Russian Conference on "Engineering Problems of Thermonuclear Reactors," 26-28 May 1997. International paper submission and participation is encouraged. V. A. Glukhikh is Chairman, O.G. Filatov is Vice Chairman, and B.N. Zhukov is Scientific Secretary of the conference. Filatov is also chair of the Programme Committee.

Persons wishing to submit papers should advise the conference organizers and send a one page abstract as soon as possible by email to EPTR@niiefa.spb.su. Indicate which of the following topical sessions you wish your paper to be presented in (1) Reactor Concepts; (2) First Wall, Divertor, Vacuum Vessel; (3) Plasma Heating Systems; (4) Magnet Systems; (5) Power Supply and Protection Systems; (6) Control and Diagnostic Systems; (7) Fuel and Tritium Systems, Exhaust Gas Pumping; (8) Blanket, Shield, Energy Conversion Systems; (9) Safety, Environment, Waste Management.
