US FESAC to Meet March 12-13; Also Fusion Day in DC March 14

The US Department of Energy's Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Committee
(FESAC) will meet Tuesday-Wednesday, March 12-13, at the Canopy by
Hilton hotel, 940 Rose Avenue, North Bethesda, Maryland 20852.
Presentations at the meeting are expected to include briefings on the
status of the US Community Planning Process (see
FPN 19-07)
and on the recently completed US National Academies study "Strategic Plan for U.S.
Burning Plasma Research" (see
FPN18-53).

On Thursday March 14, fusion advocates are encouraged to participate in
the annual Fusion Day, on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and to arrange
