US Fusion Community Summer Workshops

The US fusion community is holding two series of Summer Workshops; one under the auspices of the US Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Committee (FESAC) based on a charge from the DOE (see FPN17-12); the other self-organized in preparation to provide input to the National Academies fusion study just getting underway (see FPN17-18).

The currently planned FESAC workshops are:

May30 - June 1 at the Rockville MD Hilton

June 20-22 at the Sheraton OHare Airport in Chicago

July 19-21 at PPPL

July 24-28 in Madison Wisconsin

December 11-15 in Austin, TX
