Fusion Day in DC March 15

February 14, 2017

In what has become an annual tradition, fusion scientists and advocates will assemble in Washington, DC on March 15, to visit with their Congressional representatives and staff, to educate them on the importance and promise of fusion energy. Those wishing or already planning to attend should contact Julie Groeninger: jgroenin@Princeton.edu for details on the event.

Those who arrive the day before (March 14) will meet for a casual dinner at a location to be determined. Then, on the morning of Wednesday March 15, the group will meet for breakfast at 8 am at the Tortilla Coast restaurant, near the House Office buildings, during which time they will hear from a guest speaker from Capitol Hill about the expectations for the upcoming legislative year. The group will then split up to visit with their respective Congressional representatives. Those whose schedules permit, usually get together briefly again for lunch.
