April 20 House Hearing on Fusion

The Energy Subcommittee of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology of the U.S. House of Representatives will hold a hearing on the U.S. fusion program on Wednesday, April 20 at 10 am in room 2318 of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, DC.

Scheduled witnesses are ITER Director-General Bernard Bigot, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory Director Stewart Prager, and Los Alamos scientist Scott Hsu.

Two web sites have been set up.

The Democrat site is

The Republican site is

The only content difference between the sites is that one will post opening statements from Democratic Members and the other will post opening statements from Republican Members.

The hearing will be live-streamed on these sites, and the video will be archived there if anyone is interested in watching it later.
