FPA 2016 Annual Meeting Dates and Request for Award Nominations

Fusion Power Associates 37^th Annual Meeting and Symposium, "Fusion Power Development: An International Venture" will be held December 13-14 at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill hotel in Washington, DC. Registration details will be posted at http://fusionpower.org and click on "Annual Meeting Agenda and Registration".

Award Nominations:

Nominations are sought by June 15 for Fusion Power Associates Leadership and Distinguished Career Awards. No supporting material is required for these nominations. The criteria and list of previous award winners are posted at http://fusionpower.org and click on Awards.

Nominations are also sought by June 15 for Fusion Power Associates Excellence in Fusion Engineering Award. Nominating material should include the candidates bio and letters of recommendation, including at least one letter from outside the nominee's home institution. This Award has been given annually since 1987 in memory of MIT professor David J. Rose. The purpose is to recognize individuals in the early part of their careers (maximum age 42) with both technical accomplishment and demonstrated leadership qualities.
