FESAC Gets New Members; To Meet Nov 6-7

Four new members have been named to the U.S. Department of Energy's Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Committee (FESAC). They are:

Amanda Hubbard (MIT)
Hantao Ji (PPPL)
Dale Meade (PPPL-retired)
Nermin Uckan (ORNL)

Additional members and a new chair are expected to be named prior to the next FESAC meeting, now scheduled for November 6-7 at the Hilton in Gaithersburg, Maryland

At the November meeting, FESAC is expected to receive final reports from two ongoing FESAC panels. The charges and activities of these panels is described in two previous Fusion Program Notes: FPN08-20 and FPN08-34.
