The meeting included overview talks by acting fusion director Jim Decker and Ray Orbach, DOE Under Secretary for Science. Highlights of the meeting were reports Ray Fonck on "Presentation of a Draft Plan for the Participation of U. S. scientists on ITER," by Jerry Navratil on "Report from the Group Doing Planning for Developing a Program Plan," and by Warren Marton and Ned Sauthoff on "ITER Project Status."
