Tom Stix Memorial Fund Established

A fund in memory of Princeton University professor Tom Stix has just been established (FPN01-29).

Tom Stix was a friend and mentor to many in plasma physics and fusion. The fund aims to help enhance graduate student education and life in the plasma physics program he nurtured for so long. The intended use of the fund is to aid students in plasma physics or related fields in the early stages of their graduate education, such as supporting travel to conferences and/or brief work visits to various international research institutes.

Contributions can be made payable to Princeton University, with the annotation "Stix Memorial Fund" in the memo line, and sent to:
