The US DOE Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Committee (FESAC) will hold a public meeting February 27-28 at the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The meeting will start at 9 AM on February 27 and end around 12:30 PM on February 28. The Hilton is located at Interstate 270 Exit 11.
Business to be conducted will include progress reports from the two new FESAC Panels (FPN00-55 and 57) on Burning Plasma Physics and Fusion Theory Program, respectively. There may also be additional discussion of the National Academies fusion review report. A detailed agenda will be posted at the DOE fusion office web site (//wwwofe.er.doe.gov) when it is finalized.
