Note for the interpretation of systems code and LLNL versions of PFC surface heating

Differing assumptions were used in the estimates of heat flux on plasma facing components for these two approaches.

1. For the system code, the split of transport power between inboard and outboard legs was 20%/80%, whereas the LLNL results self-consistently found a split of 25%/75%.

2. For the systems code, a conservative assumption was made for up-down symmetry in the double-null configuration. It was assumed that each of the upper and lower divertor must be designed to handle 65% of the total transport power in steady state. LLNL analysis assumed an even up/down split of 50/50.
